Winegars Buttermilk Syrup

1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup buttermilk (may use milk with vinegar but it seperates)
1/2 cup margarine (we leave this out sometimes and it's fine)
2 Tblspn white Karo
Boil then add:
1 tsp soda
2 tsp vanilla extract (or coconut, almond etc)


Serve hot on any breakfast food.
