I really LOVE caramel corn! It is one of my favorites(I have been known to have "caramel corn birthday cakes".
this recipe from my sis-in-law(Mary)it is the BEST caramel corn recipe EVER.....
look out, you will be hooked!
1/2 cup butter
1 cup light corn syrup
2 1/4 cup brown sugar
after boiling 6 minutes, ADD:
1 can sweetened condensed milk(stir in milk vigorously)
Pour caramel over:
popped popcorn(pop 2 cups of unpopped popcorn- adjust this amount depending on how caramely you like it)
Put butter, syrup, and brown sugar in a pan. Boil for 6 minutes and remove from heat. Stir in milk vigorously--pour over Popcorn!!
