my sister sent this recipe to me from a "Provident Living" article - the focus was on learning how to use Powdered Milk from your food storage..........
FRUIT AND CREAM POPS
1 C. fruit and its juice(peaches, pineapple, apricots, pears)
1/4 C. nonfat dry milk +1 C. water*
1/2 C. non-fat dry milk(additional)
1 tsp honey
1/2 tsp. vanilla
10 Popsicle sticks
*.Or substitute 1 C. skim milk for the reconstituted nonfat milk
Mix together fruit, reconstitute nonfat dry milk and additional dry milk.
Whip in honey and vanilla until fruit is well blended. Freeze in a freezer container for 40 minutes. Spoon the mixture into a blender and blend for 30 seconds. Pour mixture into Popsicle molds
or paper cups, insert Popsicle sticks and freeze until firm. Yield: 10 Popsicles.
